This role is ideal for someone who believes deeply in the value of learning through nature and who can build trust with children who may be anxious, disengaged, or have had difficult experiences with school. You will use the outdoors as a space for confidence building, emotional regulation, and genuine curiosity, all while keeping safety and wellbeing at the centre of everything you do.
Sessions are delivered outdoors in all weather, at woodland or other natural sites, and are tailored around the needs of each child or small group.

- Creating a safe, calm, and trusting environment for children who may be anxious about learning

- A recognised Forest School Leader qualification (Level 3 preferred)
- A current Paediatric First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one before starting
- Previous experience working with children who have additional needs, anxiety, or attendance difficulties
- Confidence delivering sessions outdoors in all weather conditions
- A calm, patient manner and a genuine belief that every child can thrive given the right environment
- Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one before starting
